Gain a foundation to better accomplish underwriting objectives. Designed primarily for employees who are new to the study of underwriting, this course is appropriate for newcomers to the business as well as for more experienced employees with no formal underwriting education. It will increase your understanding of the underwriting process, your confidence in dealing with other underwriting professionals, and your knowledge of the underwriter's role in an agency or brokerage.
You will earn a Certificate of Completion for passing the exam for this course.

Exam on request (EOR). Fifty objective (multiple-choice) questions. Time allotted: 2 hours.
The Introduction to Underwriting exam is Exam-on-Request (EOR) and can be taken in two ways. Take the multiple-choice exam (1) by computer at an Institutes Approved On-Site Testing Center or a Prometric Testing Center during our testing windows or (2) on paper in your workplace at any time.
