AIC RECOGNITION LUNCHEON IN JUNE

The first of three 2007 AIC recognition luncheons to be held at the PLRB/LIRB’s (Property Loss Research Bureau/Liability Insurance Research Bureau) regional conferences will be June 13, 2007 in Richmond, Va. Recent AIC graduates and all those who hold the AIC designation should plan to attend one.

At the luncheons, recent AIC completers will be specially recognized, and all attendees will enjoy a presentation on a current topic in claims.

More information is available about the conference on the PLRB/LIRB Web site and about the luncheon on the Institutes’ Web site.

EDUCATION PODCAST LAUNCH

The Institutes recently launched a series of professional education programs in the form of free audio "podcasts," or Internet-distributed audio programs. The release coincided with the property-casualty insurance industry's Ethics Awareness Month, which is observed each March.

The inaugural series of Institutes podcasts focuses on discussions of professional ethical dilemmas that members of the insurance and risk management industry could face in the course of doing business. Listeners will hear a scenario and then listen to the panelists discuss the ethical implications.
