Travel Directions to the Institutes

From the Airport by Car

  1. Follow signs from the airport to I-95 South.
  2. Take I-95 south to Exit 7 for I-476 (Blue Route) approximately 6 miles.
  3. Proceed north on Route I-476 for 5 miles to Exit 5 (Route 1).
  4. Take Route 1 South to Route 252 North.  Travel north for 0.4 miles, keeping left, to a Y in the road (just beyond Rose Tree Park).
  5. At this point, bear left and continue on Providence Road.  (DO NOT stay on Route 252, which continues straight ahead).
  6. Travel 7.4 miles to our Providence Road entrance on the left.  Providence Road ends at Sugartown Road just past the entrance to the campus.
From Center City Philadelphia
  1. Take I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) West, toward Valley Forge to Exit 328A (Route 202 South).
  2. Travel on Route 202 South for about 3 miles to the Paoli exit (Route 252 South).  This exit is approximately one mile beyond the exit for Valley Forge Road.
  3. Travel south on Route 252 for 2.4 miles to the intersection at Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue).
  4. Turn right onto Route 30 West and, staying to the left, travel 0.5 miles to a traffic light at Paoli Pike (by Matthews Ford).
  5. Bear left onto Paoli Pike and travel 2.4 miles to a traffic light at Sugartown Road.
  6. Turn left onto Sugartown Road and travel south 2 miles to our Sugartown Road entrance, first left beyond Providence Road.
From the North and East Via PA Turnpike
  1. Take Exit 326 (Valley Forge) to Route 202 South.
  2. Travel on Route 202 South for about 3 miles to the Paoli exit (Route 252 South).  This exit is approximately one mile beyond the exit for Valley Forge Road.
  3. Travel south on Route 252 for 2.4 miles to the intersection at Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue).
  4. Turn right onto Route 30 West and, staying to the left, travel 0.5 miles to a traffic light at Paoli Pike (by Matthews Ford).
  5. Bear left onto Paoli Pike and travel 2.4 miles to a traffic light at Sugartown Road.
  6. Turn left onto Sugartown Road and travel south 2 miles to our Sugartown Road entrance, first left beyond Providence Road.
From the North and West Via PA Turnpike
  1. Take Exit 312 (Downingtown).  Beyond toll gate, bear left onto Route 100 South.
  2. Travel south on Route 100 for 7 miles, crossing Route 30.
  3. When Route 100 exits to the right, bear left following "Route 202 South/Wilmington" signs.
  4. When merged onto Route 202 South, travel 1.5 miles and take the Paoli Pike exit.
  5. Turn left (east) onto Paoli Pike and travel 5 miles to a traffic light at Sugartown Road.
  6. Turn right onto Sugartown Road and travel south 2 miles to our Sugartown Road entrance, first left beyond Providence Road.
From the South Via I-95
  1. From Delaware, travel north on Interstate 95.  Follow signs marked "I-95, Wilmington."
  2. Travel to Concord Pike Exit #8B (Route 202).  Exit right, then immediately bear left, following Route 202 North toward West Chester.
  3. Travel 12 miles on Route 202 North toward the Holiday Inn on the right.
  4. As you pass the Holiday Inn, exit right, staying on Route 202 North.  Travel 2 miles and take the Paoli Pike exit.  Turn left (east) onto Paoli Pike and travel 5 miles to a traffic light at Sugartown Road.
  5. Turn right onto Sugartown Road and travel south 2 miles to our Sugartown Road entrance, first left beyond Providence Road.
