Each year, one Institutes course leader is awarded the Jack F. Derrickson Award for Outstanding Course Leadership. This award is named in honor of Jack F. Derrickson, CPCU, who served as a course leader and grader of Institutes examinations for over 40 years.
These course leaders have met the highest Institutes standards relating to both numbers of classes led and the quality of educational outcomes. This prestigious award may be earned only once during a course leader's career. Honorees receive a cash award, a plaque, and a stipend toward attending the CPCU Society's Annual Meeting and the The Institutes' CPCU Conferment Ceremony to receive the award.

2011 Derrickson Award Winner
Amy M. Campbell, CPCU, is the 2011 recipient of the Jack F. Derrickson Award for Outstanding Course Leadership given by The Institutes. Campbell is director of customer service at West Bend Mutual Insurance Company in West Bend, WI.
Campbell has worked in the insurance industry for over 20 years. She holds the following designations from The Institutes: Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI®), Associate in Fidelity and Surety Bonding (AFSB), Associate in Claims (AIC), Associate in Management (AIM), Associate in Insurance Services (AIS), Associate in Reinsurance (ARe), Associate in Research and Planning (ARP), Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU), and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU®). She teaches courses in the AIC, AU, and CPCU designation programs.
Campbell is a member of the Society for Insurance Trainers and Educators (SITE) and serves on the board of the Family Center of Washington County. She has taught nearly every CPCU course, and currently teaches CPCU courses for the Greater Milwaukee Chapter of the CPCU Society and for associates at West Bend Mutual Insurance Company. |
