Advanced Executive Education (AEE)
Program Content
The courses in the AEE program and the Scenario-Based Strategic Planning project focus on the following five areas:
Strategy, Leadership, Finance, Marketing, and Management.

Strategy
Learn techniques for managing a network of alliances and developing a competitive advantage in global and rapidly changing markets. Increase your competitive advantage and equip your organization to adapt to change by providing appropriate mechanisms, objectives, and incentives for formulating and implementing your strategy.
Leadership
Organizations worldwide are confronting more turbulent markets, more demanding shareholders, and more discerning customers than before. Learn to identify (1) the capabilities required for leading organizations today and in the future and (2) the cultures that support the exercise of leadership.
Finance
Gain insights on how functions across the organization influence financial decisions and shareholder value, and see how creating value for customers can lead to shareholder value. Acquire the managerial, economic, and financial bases for mergers and acquisitions while aligning financial strategy with marketing strategy.
Management
Discover the latest thinking in management, and learn how operational, marketing, and financial decisions affect strategic efforts. Topics include forecasting, planning and control, allocating resources, the appraisal of competition, and implementation strategies.
Program Structure
AEE is a three-week residency program. Participants attend the initial two-week session and then attend the final one-week session four to five months later. A typical day's schedule consists of two learning modules in the morning and two in the afternoon. Some evening sessions are also scheduled.

Computer Simulation
Participants will also take part in a computer-assisted learning exercise. The computer model provides an opportunity for simulated interaction among various departments within an organization. It allows participants to experiment with the decision-making processes involved in operating an insurance company and to test boundaries within the confines of a simulation.
