- Describe each of the different insurance company functions and their purposes.

- The three major federal statutes that regulate insurance and their significance
- The role of the NAIC in insurance regulation
- The purposes of insurance regulation
- The activities of insurance regulators
- The types of insurance regulation
- Identify what the NAIC annual statement contains and why that information is important.
