Associate in National Flood Insurance (ANFI™)

The need for flood insurance is greater than ever before. In fact, about one in five Nationa Flood Insurance Program claims come from outside the mapped Special Flood Hazard Area, according to the NFIP Web site. That´s why The Institutes have teamed up with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to bring you the Associate in National Flood Insurance (ANFI™) designation.

Based on the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) Flood Insurance Manual and the Mandatory Purchase of Flood Insurance Guidelines booklet, ANFI™ reinforces the technical and practical knowledge and skills you need to confidently and accurately handle all aspects of flood insurance coverage.

You can earn the ANFI™ designation by passing the required exams.

New! Ethics requirement. The Institutes believe ethical decision making skills are essential to the practice of insurance. Starting January 2011, all designation program participants must complete either Ethical Guidelines for Insurance Professionals (for all programs except CPCU) or the CPCU program’s Ethics and the CPCU Code of Professional Conduct. Both online modules are free. Learn more and register now.
