Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance (AIAF)

With the Institutes´ Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance designation program, you´ll build a strong foundation of knowledge in practices, principles, and procedures used to prepare insurer financial statements to comply with the requirements of the NAIC and other regulatory bodies. You´ll also gain an overall understanding of how to use the information contained in these statements for management or assessment of insurer performance.

Those who meet the AIAF program requirements earn the Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance (AIAF) designation.

New! Ethics requirement. The Institutes believe ethical decision making skills are essential to the practice of insurance. Starting January 2011, all designation program participants must complete either Ethical Guidelines for Insurance Professionals (for all programs except CPCU) or the CPCU program’s Ethics and the CPCU Code of Professional Conduct.
